Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux, France

My parents live in Tahoe, my sister lives in Berlin, and I live in DC. The distance and multiple time zones can make it difficult to see one another. In fact, it had been two years since we were all in the same place at the same time. This summer we decided to meet in Bordeaux. What better way to reunite and celebrate my parents’ 30th wedding anniversary than exploring a beautiful city, eating delicious food, and drinking loads of wine?

If you make it to Bordeaux, I recommend doing the following things: Visit the Place de la Bourse at night, eat your way through the farmers market on Sunday, and visit the wineries surrounding the city.

Here are my favorite moments in Bordeaux.
